Is JustMySocks legal? Is it safe?

JustMySocks itself is a legitimate network acceleration service. As a user, you are responsible for ensuring your usage is legal in your jurisdiction (for example: business communication, cross‑border e‑commerce, academic research, etc.). The service uses encrypted connections; from a technical standpoint, it is as safe as mainstream VPN/proxy solutions.

What does “automatic IP rotation” mean?

When the system detects that an IP has routing issues or has been blocked, it automatically switches to a backup IP on the backend — no user action is required. This is one of JustMySocks’ key strengths and is crucial for maintaining high availability.

What is the CN2 GIA route and why is it faster?

CN2 GIA (Global Internet Access) is China Telecom’s top‑tier international backbone route. It uses dedicated, high‑quality fiber paths that are not shared with mass‑market traffic, which means lower latency, higher speeds, and greatly improved stability. Does JustMySocks support Alipay?

Yes. JustMySocks supports Alipay, PayPal, and VISA/MasterCard credit cards. Users in mainland China can pay directly in CNY by scanning the Alipay QR code on checkout.

Do I need to provide real identity information to register?

No. You don’t need to submit any ID documents. For the name field you can simply use pinyin (e.g., Wang Xiaoming). The most important field is your email address, which must be valid so you can receive login and billing emails.

Is there a promo code? How much discount does it give?

Which plan should I choose?

💻 Usage

How many devices can I use JustMySocks on at the same time?

LA plans (LA 500, LA 1000) support up to 5 simultaneous devices. Tokyo 100 and HK 100 support up to 3 devices online at the same time.

Which client apps are supported?

JustMySocks provides standard protocol configs, so most mainstream clients work well. On Windows, Clash for Windows is recommended; on macOS, ClashX or ClashX Pro; on iOS, Shadowrocket or Stash; on Android, Clash for Android.

What happens when I run out of data?

When your monthly data quota is used up, your service is suspended until the next billing cycle, at which point the data allowance automatically resets. Currently, you cannot buy extra data mid‑cycle. If you often exceed your quota, consider upgrading to a larger plan.

Can I change or upgrade my plan?

Yes. In the JustMySocks dashboard you can upgrade or downgrade your plan. The system will automatically calculate the price difference pro‑rata. Alternatively, you can cancel the current service and purchase a new plan.

What should I do if I can’t connect or the speed is very slow?

Try the following steps:
① Check that your client configuration (server, port, password, encryption) is correct.
② Try switching between different server hostnames (JustMySocks usually provides multiple).
③ Make sure your local network connection is working properly.
④ Wait for automatic IP rotation to kick in (usually from a few minutes to a few hours).
⑤ If the issue persists, open a support ticket in the JustMySocks dashboard.

💰 Renewal & Refunds

Can I get a refund from JustMySocks?

JustMySocks does not currently offer no‑questions‑asked refunds. For this reason, new users are advised to start with a monthly plan. Once you are satisfied with performance and stability, you can switch to a yearly plan for better value.

Will my subscription renew automatically?

JustMySocks will not charge your payment method automatically. Before expiry, they will send renewal reminder emails and generate an invoice. You must log in and pay manually. If you don’t pay by the due date, the service is suspended after expiry.

If I use a promo code, will I also get a discount on renewal?

Yes. JMS9272283 is a recurring promo code. It applies to both your first payment and all subsequent renewals automatically; you don’t need to enter it again.
