After you purchase JustMySocks, the next step is configuring a client on your devices. This tutorial covers all four major platforms and walks you through the setup step by step.

Step 0: Get Your Configuration Details

Log in to the JustMySocks dashboard, click Services → My Services, find your service, and click into it. You will see the following key information:

Server (s1–s5) — Server addresses (usually 5; you can use any of them)

Port — Port number

Password — Connection password

Encryption — Encryption method

💡 Recommendation: Use s5 (Subscription Link) JustMySocks usually provides a subscription URL that lets you import all server configurations in one click, without filling fields manually. Use this whenever possible.

Windows Setup

🪟 Windows — Recommended: Clash for Windows
  1. Download and install Clash for Windows (from the latest release on GitHub).
  2. Open the app and click Profiles on the left sidebar.
  3. Paste the JustMySocks subscription URL into the URL field at the top.
  4. Click Download and wait for the configuration to finish downloading.
  5. Click Proxies on the left and choose a server node.
  6. Click General and toggle System Proxy on.
  7. Done. Open your browser and test the connection.

macOS Setup

🍎 macOS — Recommended: ClashX or ClashX Pro
  1. Download and install ClashX (from GitHub or via Homebrew).
  2. Click the ClashX icon in the menu bar → Config → Remote Config → Manage.
  3. Click Add, paste the subscription URL, and save.
  4. Back in the menu bar, select the configuration you just added.
  5. Click Set as System Proxy to enable the system proxy.
  6. Done.

iOS Setup

📱 iOS — Recommended: Shadowrocket or Stash
  1. In the App Store, purchase and download Shadowrocket (requires a non‑Mainland China Apple ID).
  2. Open Shadowrocket → tap the + icon in the top‑right corner.
  3. Select Type: Subscribe.
  4. Paste your JustMySocks subscription URL into the URL field.
  5. Tap Done and wait for the server list to load.
  6. Select a node and toggle the Connect switch at the top.
  7. On first use, iOS will ask to add a VPN configuration; tap Allow.
⚠️ Overseas Apple ID Required Shadowrocket and Stash are not available in the Mainland China App Store. You need an Apple ID from the US, Hong Kong, or another region to download them. You can search online for “how to register an overseas Apple ID”.

Android Setup

🤖 Android — Recommended: Clash for Android
  1. Download Clash for Android (CFA) as an APK from GitHub.
  2. Open the app → tap Profiles.
  3. Tap the + icon in the top‑right → choose URL.
  4. Paste the JustMySocks subscription URL, set a name, and save.
  5. Return to the main screen and select the configuration you just added.
  6. Tap the Start button and grant VPN permission.
  7. Done.

General Configuration Tips

  • Whenever possible, use s5 or the subscription URL so that IP changes are updated automatically.
  • If you configure manually, use the domain name as the server address instead of a raw IP, so automatic rotation still works.
  • For routing mode, choose Rule mode (or similar): domestic traffic goes direct, foreign traffic goes through the proxy.
  • Update your subscription regularly (about once a week) to receive the latest server list and settings.
